About Gears and Gratitude

Gears and Gratitude was created around a simple idea: take a moment to appreciate the vehicles we get to enjoy and the experiences they make possible.

As automotive enthusiasts, we're always chasing the next goal—the next modification, the next milestone, the next event. Sometimes we're so focused on reaching the finish line that we forget why we started in the first place.

The inspiration for Gears and Gratitude came from my own project car, a 1981 Cutlass. After months of pushing to get it finished, burnout set in and the car sat untouched. Then someone said something that changed my perspective:

"I wish I had a cool car to work on."

That simple statement was a reminder that many people would love the opportunities we sometimes take for granted.

Gears and Gratitude exists to celebrate the journey, not just the destination. It's about appreciating the cars we build, the roads we travel, the events we attend, and the people we meet along the way—from local enthusiasts to automotive legends.

Through apparel, content, and community, our mission is to encourage enthusiasts to stay connected to the hobby, fight burnout, and remember why we fell in love with cars in the first place.

Because at the end of the day, we don't have to do this.

We get to do this.
